About the Police & Prison Human Rights Project (PPHRP)

The Flynn Law Office has always sought to put an end to institutional oppression. However, this is an ongoing issue that we must face. As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once stated, "change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle." PPHRP is a Pro Bono project that our team created to support folks who are on the inside facing abuses of their human rights by prison institutions. Folks can reach out to us at any stage for information on their rights and the legal process, and we do our best to provide additional resources and information, such as the Jailhouse Lawyers Handbook. Our goal is to help those on the inside learn to protect and represent themselves through difficult situations, and share that knowledge to others, as a means to prevent abuses of power against those who are vulnerable and facing inhumane treatment.
