Michael Flynn is the Principal Attorney at the Flynn Law Office (“FLO”), an employment, immigration, and civil & human rights law firm dedicated to representing workers, im/migrants, and victims or survivors of violence or other injustice at the hands of the police state or other systems of oppression. He has been practicing law since 2008, a graduate of Golden Gate University Law School, and a 2004 graduate of Humboldt State University (Environmental Science/ Spanish). He is fluent in Spanish, and enjoys learning other languages. As a white person from Oklahoma who has resided in California for most of his life (primarily Oakland), he strives to be a better white ally and accomplice in dismantling systems white supremacy and patriarchy. He has (in the past) served as the Anti-Racism Committee Co-Chair for the National Lawyers Guild at the Bay Area and National level, and currently is a co-chair of the California Employment Lawyers Association Racial Justice Task Force. He previously served as President of the National Lawyers Guild Chapter of the San Francisco Bay Area.
